A Career Day at Jordan University of Science and Technology


The Faculty of Agriculture at Jordan University of Science and Technology organized a career day, with the participation of more than 30 companies and institutions from the public and private sectors, as part of the activities of the project to enhance employment opportunities for graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture and in cooperation with the Dutch Advance Consulting and the Dutch ICRA Building Trust for Educational Development.

Vice President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Sarhan Haddad said that all institutions, including universities, bear a national responsibility represented in qualifying students for the labor market, openness to the local community, and linking employers and those looking for employment opportunities. Haddad added that the university spares no effort in preparing its students. To be highly qualified and trained to meet the requirements of the labor market.

The project coordinator, Prof. Dr. Kamel Zuhdi, stressed the importance of holding such events to network fresh graduates with employers, and to identify the skills needed by the labor market to enhance employment opportunities for university graduates
