Discussing Academic Cooperation between Jordan University of Science and Technology and the Canadian Embassy

The President of the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Prof. Khalid El-Salem, discussed, in his meeting with the Ambassador of Canada to Jordan, Her Excellency Mrs. Donica Petti, and her accompanying delegation from Memorial University of Newfoundland, ways to enhance cooperation relations between the university and the Canadian Embassy in Amman, and various educational institutions and academic institutes in Canada, in the presence of Vice President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Ajlouni.

Her Excellency, Ambassador Botti, emphasized the depth of Canadian-Jordanian relations, their distinction and their encounter with a large number of issues and files framed by a set of agreements that enhance aspects of cooperation. In addition, she emphasized the embassy's readiness to open channels of cooperation and communication with Canadian universities and institutions in various fields.

For his part, Prof. Khalid El-Salem stressed the university's keenness to build bridges of cooperation in all scientific fields and academic disciplines with universities and educational institutions in various countries of the world for the benefit of both sides, pointing out that the university enjoys an environment and infrastructure for scientific research through a number of scientific centers, in addition to the presence of A distinguished university hospital, active partners from the local community, and having faculty members and cadres with qualified experiences, praising the permanent cooperation between the university and the Canadian embassy and the support provided by the Canadian government to a number of scientific and
