Jordan University of Science and Technology Celebrates the Graduation of its 31st Class
Professor Saeb Khreisat, the President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, patronized the graduation of the 31st class in the presence of the university vice presidents and the deans.
During his speech, Prof. Khreisat said that the university celebrates the graduation of a new class of promising young people who are committed to the issues of the nation under the Hashemite banner. Raising the highest congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn AL Hussien, he added that this commencement coincides with the celebrations of the Kingdom on the national holidays.
Professor Khreisat emphasized that since its establishment, the university has endeavored to achieve its goals and mission to qualify successive generations armed with science and knowledge to serve the country and the wise Hashemite leadership as loyal soldiers. Khreisat congratulated the graduates of the Arab and foreign countries for this great achievement and noted that those graduates will be the ambassadors of their second country, Jordan, in their home countries and that this is a pride for Jordan to contribute to strengthening brotherly ties and friendships among nations.
Professor Khreisat also stressed that the university has worked to prepare the young scientific leaders in this country, to invest their energies and creative potential, and to qualify them academically, educationally and morally to be the hope and dream of the nation as well as the symbol of its pride and prosperity.
Prof. Awni Al-Otoum, The Dean of Student Affairs, said that the graduation ceremony of the 31st class lasts for three days. He noted that the number of the graduates is 3872 students.
Areen Bani Salameh delivered a speech on behalf of the graduates. She appreciated the role of the university in achieving excellence in its various teaching programs. She also said that the university gave a special attention to scientific research and graduate studies in order to meet the demands of both local and Arab labor markets stressing the efforts of faculty members to achieve excellence for university graduates.
At the end of the ceremony which was attended by faculty members, and the graduates and their families, Prof. Khreisat handed over the certificates to the graduate.
