At
Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST)
A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH) and the Lutheran Medical Center (LMC) Department of Dental Medicine intend to develop and implement a one and/or two year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD) clinical training program accredited by the CODA of the American Dental Association at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) starting July 2012.
The program will be for one year in duration, including a fellowship in dental public health (provided by A.T. Still University’s ASDOH and School of Health Management). An optional second year AEGD will also be available devoted to an area of interest in Dental Medicine.
In AEGD resident’s program, the he residents will work for 40 hours/week. The didactic instruction will be via online educational modules/courses (available 24 hours/7 days/week) with course directors available for online discussions and an occasional live seminar on the 4th Tuesdays of each month. The current residents are not allotted time in their work day to complete the online modules; they complete them on their own time and are responsible to complete a specific # of modules each month.
The fees will be approximately 25.000$ for the Jordanians and 55.000$ for the non-Jordanian residents.
