Dr. Ismael Matalka has been Elected President of the Arab Division of the International Academy of Pathology
During the 23rd conference of the Arab Division of the International Academy of Pathology, which was held in Beirut recently and in the presence of about 300 consultant and specialist in pathology and laboratory medicine of the Arab countries and the participation of more than 30 speakers from international experts in various fields of pathology and diagnostics of tumors and molecular pathology, Dr. Ismail Matalka, Vice Dean of Medicine was elected as the next President of the Arab Division. This has come in recognition of the important role played by Jordan in the events and activities of the Arab Division and the International Academy and the role of Dr. Mataka and Department of Pathology at the Jordan University of Science & Technology in training and education and research in the field of pathology and stimulate scientific activities and training at the local and Arabic levels. Dr. Matalka has been the Chairman of Arab School of Pathology, which is a mobile school committed to conducting high level courses with recent advances in all aspects of pathology practice throughout the Arab world, as well as the Secretary of the Scientific Council of the pathology in the Arab Board of Health specializations.
