About the Instrument

The VeraSol-2 is a Class AAA, LED-based solar simulator with a 2 inch by 2 inch illuminated area. It utilizes multiple, independently controlled LEDs at different wavelengths to achieve a spectral match meeting Class AAA certification. The VeraSol-2 is designed to
simulate sunlight for testing and calibration of solar cells and other photosensitive materials.

Measurements & Analysis

When integrated into a complete PV-IV test station, the VeraSol-2 acts as the controlled light source to extract primary photovoltaic parameters.
