The participation of Nanotechnology Institute students and faculty members in the Water Security for Sustainable Development Conference
A group of students from Nanotechnology Institute headed by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Borhan Aldeen Albiss, participated in the Water Security for Sustainable Development Conference, which was organized by the Middle East Desalination Research Centre (MEDRC).
The conference was held at the Movenpick Hotel, Amman, in the presence of a number of experts and researchers specialized in the field of water desalination and representatives of various Jordanian ministries and universities.
The Institute had an important role in the success of this conference by organizing and appointing the student "Zaid Sawalmeh" as Marketing Manager of the center in Jordan, in addition to receiving last year a grant from them for his research related to water desalination using nanotechnology which is supervised by Prof. Muna Abu-Dalo (Head of the Consultative Center For Science And Technology at JUST) and Dr. Ayat Bouzieh (Institute Faculty Member).
