A team of students, engineers and professors at Nanotechnology Institute designed and implemented the smallest flag of Jordan using nanotechnology by growthing zinc oxide nanowires on silicon wafers, and it was coated with a thin layer of pure gold with a thickness of 3 nanometers. The flag dimensions reached approximately (3mm*2mm) with a resolution about 10 nanometers, where nanometer is equivalent to one billionth of metre.
