Discussion of a master's thesis in computer engineering

​A master's thesis in computer engineering submitted by student Bashayer Al-Rashidi was discussed, entitled:

“A DEEP LEARNING-BASED HTTP SLOW DOS CLASSIFICATION APPROACH USING RADIAL BASIS FUNCTION NETWORK (RBFNNS)”

The thesis addressed advanced intelligent solutions in the field of cybersecurity to protect information systems from advanced cyber attacks related to denial of service.

This research was conducted under the supervision of:

  • Dr. Mazen Al-Wadi – Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Jordan University of Science and Technology.
  • Dr. Qasem Abu Al-Haija – Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Jordan University of Science and Technology.

The discussion committee consisted of the following distinguished professors:

  • Prof. Saleh Abu Al-Saud – Professor of Data Science at Princess Sumaya University for Technology.
  • ​Dr. Hussam Qablan – Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Jordan University of Science and Technology.

Praise be to God, these efforts culminated in the student obtaining a master's degree in computer engineering.
