As part of the efforts of the Department of Computer Game Design and Development at the University of Science and Technology of Jordan to enhance the knowledge of students and link them directly to the job market, a delegation of students from the department participated in an introductory session on the electronic games industry, which was held on Monday, 5/5/2025 at 12:00 pm.

The participation came in response to an official invitation extended by Mad Hook, a company that develops and designs computer games, to the head of the department, Dr. Qassim Abu Al-Haija, as part of enhancing the interaction between the academic sector and the gaming and e-sports sector. The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Samer Shatnawi and Engineer Khalaf Al-Anagra as academic supervisors of the visit. The visit included a comprehensive introductory presentation on the game development process, where the students were introduced to real examples of developed games, in addition to an interactive session to answer the students' questions about the prospects of working in this emerging field.

The students showed great interaction and asked a range of questions about design and development techniques and employment opportunities in the games industry, reflecting their growing interest in this creative and technical specialization.

Prof. Mounir Bani Yassin, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Technology, praised these qualitative initiatives, highlighting the pivotal role they play in honing students' skills and linking them to practical reality, stressing that the University is constantly seeking to enhance opportunities to open up promising technical markets and broaden students' horizons in the fields of innovation and creativity.

This participation comes within the framework of the University of Science and Technology of Jordan's commitment to support students and provide a stimulating educational environment that encourages interaction with modern developments in the fields of digital technology.
