In a new scientific achievement that enhances the College of Computer and Information Technology status, several faculty members have been ranked among the top 2% of researchers in the world, according to the annual ranking issued by Stanford University for the year 2023.

The list included a group of distinguished researchers at the college, namely:

  • Prof. Shadi Jawarneh
  • Prof. Rehab Al-Duwairi
  • Dr. Muhammad Al-Samadi
  • Dr. Yaser Jararwah
  • Dr. Qasem Abu Al Haija
  • ​Prof. Muhammad Freiwan


This ranking comes in recognition of their significant research efforts and scientific contributions in the fields of technology and information. This achievement is a continuation of the college's academic excellence and reflects its commitment to advancing scientific research and supporting innovation.


In this context, the college expressed its deep gratitude to Prof. Khalid Al-Salem, who has played a prominent role in supporting and encouraging scientific research within the college, and praised his wise leadership that contributed to achieving this distinction at the global level.

It is worth mentioning that this is the fifth consecutive year that the college's name appears in Stanford's list of the world's best researchers, placing it at the forefront of local universities in the field of technology.
