Jordan University of Science and Technology won first place in the Jordanian National Information Security Competition
October 9 // The team of Jordan University of Science and Technology students won first place in the Jordanian National Information Security Competition, which was held at the Dead Sea during the annual conference of the Information Systems Control and Audit Association in Jordan, after also winning the"The first" in Jordan in the qualifying competition.
Jordan University of Science and Technology participated in a team of four students: Muhammad Al-Filaila, Muhammad Umair, Hisham Abu Bakr, and Yanal Abu Sini.
It is noteworthy that the International Information Systems Control and Audit Association (ASaka) is an independent, non-profit association that participates in the development, adoption, and dissemination of world-leading and accepted practices in the security, auditing, control, and governance of information systems. It was founded in 1969 and has more than 200 branches around the world.
The local association is a voluntary, non-profit organization that was established on the collective initiative of seven Jordanian youth.
