September 22 // A student team from the Faculty of Information Technology at Jordan University of Science and Technology won first place in the Arab Championship for Information Security finals competition, which was held in Cairo - the Arab Republic of Egypt, after qualifying among the top ten teams in the qualifying competition in which more than 700 teams from around the world.

Jordan University of Science and Technology participated in a team consisting of three students: Muhammad Al-Filaila, Muhammad Umair, and Hisham Abu Bakr.

At the end of the ceremony, the team was honored by the Jordanian Ambassador in Egypt, Dr. Amjad Al-Adayleh, and the President of the Arab Conference on Information Security, Dr. Bahaa Hassan.​
