The Faculty of Computer and Information Technology welcomes students from Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein School on an introductory scientific visit
In line with the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology's commitment at Jordan University of Science and Technology to promote community outreach and support technical and vocational education, the faculty welcomed a delegation of 11th grade information technology (BTEC) students from Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein School. This visit was part of an educational plan that links theory with practical application in the strategic information technology systems, management, and infrastructure course.
At the beginning of the visit, Prof. Munir Bani Yassin, dean of the faculty, delivered a welcome speech to the students and accompanying staff, emphasizing the importance of such meetings in introducing students to promising technical paths and faculty programs that keep pace with global developments in the computer and information technology sector.
The dean gave the students a tour of the college's facilities, halls, and laboratories. He expressed his pride in the college's innovative academic programs and pioneering research projects, hoping that the students would benefit from the visit by gaining a clearer picture of their future studies in technology.
The visit program also included:
- A visit to the Deanship of Student Affairs to learn about the majors and services offered to university students.
- A visit to the Centennial Library to learn about its knowledge resources and academic services.
- An extensive tour of the College of Computer and Information Technology to learn about its programs and technical infrastructure.
