Second place in the Kingdom in the SheHacks v2 CTF finals for women's teams
Jordan University of Science and Technology achieved a new milestone in cybersecurity when its team of female cybersecurity students from the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology won second place in the national SheHacks v2 CTF finals for women's teams. The team consisted of Sora Al-Omari, Duha Nasr, and Ru'a Al-Omari.
Their success was the result of their intensive training, active participation throughout the competition, and the academic support provided by their supervisor, Dr. Qasim Abu Al-Hija. Dr. Abu Al-Hija's support clearly contributed to raising the team's readiness and enhancing its competitive capabilities.
The dean of the college offered his sincere congratulations to the team, praising their outstanding performance, which reflects the college's advanced programs and active role in preparing students to compete in cybersecurity. The dean also affirmed the college's commitment to supporting student talent and enabling them to participate in national and international forums.
