The Faculty of Computer and Information Technology is organizing an introductory meeting for its new students.
On Sunday, November 16, 2025, the dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Prof. Munir Bani Yassin, along with his deputies, assistants, and department heads, met with new students in an introductory session. The session aimed to guide the students through the most important academic and professional guidelines necessary for them to successfully begin their university journey. Dr. Bani Yassin began the meeting by welcoming the new students and emphasizing that enrolling in the college marks the start of a distinguished academic path. This path is based on learning through practice, developing critical and creative thinking skills, and cultivating a well-rounded personality capable of keeping pace with rapid technological advancements.
The dean provided a detailed overview of the college's advanced academic and technical infrastructure, including modern laboratories and research centers that foster innovation and scientific projects.
He also emphasized the importance of students' commitment to the study plan and regular attendance at lectures. He stressed that the college has a rigorous educational quality system that ensures continuous monitoring and improvement of learning outcomes.
