The Faculty of Computer and Information Technology hosted the academic delegation from the University of Ruse, Bulgaria, Professor Plamen Zahariev (Head of the Communications Department), Professor Georgi Hristov (Director of the University Computing and Informatics Services Center), Dr. Nina Bencheva (Deputy Head of the Communications Department), and Dr. Ioanna Ruseva (Lecturer in the Department of Communications). They were received by the Deputy Dean, Professor Raed Shatnawi, and the Head of the Computer Science Department, Dr. King Abdullah, the organizer of the visit, Professor Yahya Tashtoush, and several academic colleagues. This event comes within the Erasmus+ transportation program between the two universities. The delegation visited the Computer Science Department and was briefed on the programs provided by the department. It visited the e-learning center and the classroom complex and was briefed on its services ( Thanks are due to Dr. Mahmoud Hammad). He visited the Nanotechnology Institute (thanks to Professor Burhan Al-Bas). The delegation toured several university facilities.
Professor Plamen Zahariev gave a lecture entitled “3D Technologies in Scientific and Educational Activities of Higher Education Institutions.” He expressed full readiness to cooperate in future programs, including hosting students and academics.
