As part of continued excellence and innovation in cybersecurity, the Cyber Security Department students achieved a remarkable feat by clinching advanced spots in local competitions at the level of the Kingdom of Jordan.
Students representatives of the department, namely: Mohamed Obaidat, Ayad Odeh, Qassi Al-Hamid, and Yassin Al-Rawashda, participated in the finals of the Xpand CTF competition, which took place on May 11, 2024 at the Hussein bin Talal Conference Center in the Dead Sea, as part of the Xpand Conference events.
The students shone and outshone their competitors as they qualified for the final among ten teams at the Kingdom level, thanks to their high skills and good readiness. The competition included topics related to the hack testing of operating systems and how to upskill them, where students were able to perform excellently and successfully overcome obstacles.
This achievement signifies the students' commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of cybersecurity, reflecting the high level of quality education and training they receive in the department.
