Students and graduates of Jordan University of Science and Technology won the first three places in the finals of the fourth edition of the Information Security Competition (CTF JO)

Students and graduates of the College of Computer and Information Technology (Department of Network Engineering and Security) at Jordan University of Science and Technology achieved advanced positions across the Kingdom in the finals of the fourth edition of the CTF JO Information Security Competition, which was held in Amman and organized by the Jordanian Center for Design and Development (JODDB), Green Circle Company and the Academy. Cyber Shield aims to enhance the spirit of innovation and creativity in the field of cybersecurity among young people.

​The first-place winning team included:

  • Hashem Al-Salhi (student at Jordan University of Science and Technology)
  • ​​​Layth​ Al-Gharaibeh (student at Jordan University of Science and Technology)

  • Ayoub Al-Khasawneh (student at Jordan University of Science and Technology)

The second winning team included:

  • Ahmed Al-Omari (student at Jordan University of Science and Technology)
  • Osama Al-Sharif (graduate of Jordan University of Science and Technology)
  • Anas Shaloul (graduate of Jordan University of Science and Technology)

​The third winning team included:

  • ​Muhammad Al-Falaila (student at Jordan University of Science and Technology)
  • Muhammad Amir (student at Jordan University of Science and Technology)
  • Bishr Al-Azza (student at Jordan University of Science and Technology)
