The launch of the Techno Robotics Competition 2023 at Jordan University of Science and Technology
August 30 /// The Faculty of Computer and Information Technology at Jordan University of Science and Technology, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the IEEE RAS JUST Student Chapter, organized the Techno Robotics Competition 2023, with the participation of several teams from various faculties at the university.
The competition, which took place after a series of training sessions, aims to motivate students to carry out pioneering and creative projects and ideas, in addition to developing students’ leadership skills, teamwork, and problem-solving, in building and designing small robots and their ability to successfully achieve specific goals in specific fields.
During the robotics competition, students presented various designs and innovative technologies using sensors and motors, through different challenges and specific tasks.
The Dean of the College of Computer and Information Technology, Professor Mounir Bani Yassin, stated that the competition will be an excellent opportunity to measure the development and progress of students’ skills in designing and programming robots and to know what they have achieved in the field of artificial intelligence and its practical applications, in addition to exchanging knowledge and experiences between students, academics and professionals interested in the fields of technology. and artificial intelligence.
For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Majid Musaada, stressed the keenness of the university administration, represented by its President, Professor.
