The Faculty of Computer and Information Technology won the Jordanian Competition for Programming (JCPC2016) in the first and third place at the level of the Jordanian Universities which was held on 1/10/2016.

One of our Students won the eighth place in the world competition (IEEEExtreme 10) which was held on 22/10/2016. This is the highest position achieved by Jordanian to date.
Winning the first three positions in the Arabella 2017 contest held at Al-Bayt University on Saturday 8/4-2017. The universities participated are: AlAlbayt University, Al-Yarmouk University, Hashemite University, Jadara University, Ajloun National University, Zarqa Private University and Irbid Private University, with a total of 43 teams.
Capture The Flag 2017 (CTF 2017)
The College of Computer and Information Technology and the department of Network Engineering & Security organized the Ethical Hacking Competition (CTF 2017) on 22/4/2017. The competition was the first of its kind at the level of Jordanian universities in the field of Ethical Hacking. Eight Jordanian universities participated and a team from our college won the first place.
National Technology Parade
JUST won three awards in the 10th National Technology Parade, which is an annual student project competition for the Jordanian universities, held in the Jordan German University on May 4, 2017.
This year, 66 projects (out of almost 200 projects) in 8 categories were qualified to the final stage of the competition and the top three projects in each category were recognized and awarded. JUST participated in seven projects, four of which were qualified to the final stage.
The Annual Scientific Symposium of Jerash University
The University represented by our college participated in the annual scientific symposium at Jerash University on 14/05/2017. The symposium includes a programming competition with the participation of groups from different Jordanian private and public universities in which JUST obtained the 1st, 2nd and 4th positions.
Capture the Flag (CTF 2018) contest
The College of Computer
and Information Technology represented by the Department
of Network Engineering and Security organized its second ethical hacking contest, Capture The Flag (CTF 2018)
on 10/3/2018. (This event was co-organized by
Technawi.net). There were 29 teams representing nine Jordanian universities. Each
team consists of 3 students and there were 20 volunteering students from all the
departments of the faculty. The teams compete on solving a set of security
flaw and breaches. The team who was able to capture and solve the maximum number
of these problems during a period of about10 hours won this contest.
- The 1st place was shared between teams from JUST & Yarmouk university.
- The third place was taken by another team from JUST.
