MENA ICT Forum 2024

​The College of Computer and Information Technology participated in the activities of the forum.  The Dean of the College of Computer and Information Technology (CIT), Prof. Mounir Masada, and other faculty members participated in the activities of the forum, which was held under the Royal Patronage at the Al Hussein Convention Center/Dead Sea, and organized by the Jordan Intaj Association.
The forum is the region's premier technology event, held this year under the theme “Integrating Innovation: Exploring the Future of ICT in the Region”, attracting more than 3,000 participants from 40 countries and 88 experts and speakers from major international and Arab companies.
The forum aimed to promote the role of technology in achieving inclusive growth and technological progress, and is an important platform for enhancing regional cooperation in the fields of technology and communications.
The forum addressed vital topics including artificial intelligence, future skills development, cybersecurity, and urban technology. The Vice President of Microsoft Worldwide spoke about the role of artificial intelligence and its uses in digital solutions and global cloud computing technologies, and His Excellency the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship spoke about Jordan's digital readiness and its position in the global IT indices.
This forum provided a valuable opportunity to communicate with college graduates working in technology sectors and digital companies, and serves as a link to interact with sector leaders and companies operating in the sector to discuss the latest technologies, cooperation opportunities, and training opportunities for college students and graduates.
