The College of Computer and Information Technology at the Jordan University of Science and Technology hosted a day for the advisory committees for its educational programs in the disciplines it offers, in the presence of a number of representatives of private and public companies, as well as representatives from the academic sector.
The advisory day for foreign committees is one of the requirements for quality management for educational institutions and private accreditation at the local and international levels, and the axis of linking with the industry within the university’s strategic plan to reduce the gap between the outputs of academic programs and the requirements and needs of industry and building bridges of optimal communication with the public and private sectors.
This was followed by a tour for the participants in the Center of Excellence for Creative Projects, the Shemagh Information Security Center (SOC), and then specialized workshops to discuss each educational program separately, during which the visions and messages of the five departments were reviewed and enriched, and the educational objectives of the offered programs were discussed in line with their visions and messages, and the needs of the market Work within the general framework of the college’s vision and mission, and focus on enhancing study plans with courses that simulate scientific and technological developments and meet the needs of the labor market.
