This course is designed to introduce students to the nature and the role of accounting information focusing on the company annual reports. It focuses on the role of accounting as an aid to the decision making process. Fundamental analysis approach is covered to assist in analyzing and interpreting a company by investigating its fundamental financial, strategic and human element. More specifically, the course identifies and discusses the various contexts within corporate financial communications, then content, analysis and interpretations of financial data.
