In order to bridge the gap between the academia and the industry, the Software Engineering Department at the Computer and Information Technology (CIT) college organized an event for the CIT students entitled “Programming in Jordanian Companies: Challenges and Requirements” presented by Mr. Hasan Dibas under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Hammad and with the presence of Dr. Luay Alawneh and Dr. Ahmed Shatnawi. Mr. Dibas is a Software Solution Designer at T-Force group, a global IT solution firm.

Mr. Dibas explained to the students the various IT career paths available to them and the various technologies and tools required for each path. In addition, Mr. Dibas gave the students general advices and tips to help the students improve their IT skills in order to be ready to apply for jobs and perfect their job interviews.

At the end of the session, the CIT students held an extensive dialogue which many questions, and inquiries were answered by the presenter.
