​The Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering in the faculty of Science and Arts has received the continuation of international accreditation from the German Accreditation Agency (ASIIN) for the Bachelor’s Program in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, for the period from 19/07/2025 until 30/09/2031.

This achievement reflects the department’s commitment to applying the highest academic quality standards and ensuring the continuity of excellence in its educational outcomes, in line with labor market requirements and enhancing the competitiveness of its graduates both nationally and internationally. Furthermore, the continuation of this international accreditation comes in recognition of the efforts of faculty members, administrative staff, and students, and as support for the department’s journey in developing its educational and research programs according to the latest global standards.​
