On Sunday, June 2, 2024, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Science and Technology organized a workshop titled "Methods for Teaching Mathematics Electronically." This event was held in collaboration with the local community, represented by the Irbid Governorate Council, the Directorate of Education for the Bani Obaid District (Educational Supervision Department), the Department of Mathematics at Yarmouk University, and the Al-Sarih Youth and Women Center.

     The head of the department, Dr. Amer Darwish, delivered a lecture titled "Methods for Teaching Mathematics Electronically," aimed at improving and enhancing students' skills and assessment, as well as equipping teachers with additional capabilities. Approximately seventy teachers from schools in the Bani Obaid District and the supervisory staff from the Directorate of Education for the Bani Obaid District attended the workshop.

   After the workshop concluded, certificates were distributed to the participants and certificates of appreciation were awarded to those supervising the workshop activities. Mr. Mohammed Al-Azzam, a representative of the Irbid Governorate Council, honored Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Shwaqfeh, Dean of the College of Science and Arts, and Dr. Amer Darwish, Head of the Department of Mathematics, for their efforts in making the workshop successful.
