Under
the auspices of the Department of Basic Human and Scientific Sciences,
represented by the department head, Professor Dr. Mutawakil Obeidat, on
the occasion of the International Entrepreneurship Week, the dean of the
Faculty of Arts and Sciences sponsored a lecture titled:
"Entrepreneurship and Freelancing: Your Path to Achieving Your Dreams."
At
the beginning of the lecture, the dean of the college spoke about the
importance of entrepreneurship and innovation, emphasizing the need to
familiarize students with the concepts of entrepreneurship and
innovation in practical frameworks. This is aimed at developing
students' skills and enhancing their capabilities in the field of
entrepreneurship. He highlighted the significance of such lectures in
increasing students' awareness to understand the reality of the
entrepreneurship world. The department head, who moderated the
discussion and was joined by several course instructors, stated that
this lecture provides students with an opportunity to comprehend the
world of entrepreneurship and innovation. It opens up wide horizons for
them to develop their innovative ideas, enabling them to work on future
projects and achieve their professional aspirations.

The
guest lecturer, Mr. Ayman Haroun, the CEO of the Saaed Freelancing
Platform, and Engineer Ahmed Al-Daffar, a freelancer in the crafts
field, spoke about the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation,
sharing their success stories and the challenges they faced. They
emphasized that entrepreneurship requires boldness and execution without
delay. The guests also revealed the practical aspects of the
entrepreneurship world.
Through
this lecture, the department highlighted its vital role in providing
educational content that enhances awareness of entrepreneurship,
encouraging students to take steps towards realizing their dreams
through freelancing and entrepreneurship.
