Entrepreneurship and self-employment lecture is your way to achieve your dream

Under the invitation of the Department of Basic Humanities and Sciences, represented by the department head, Professor Dr. Mutawakil Obeidat, on the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Professor Dr. Khaled Shwakfeh, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, sponsored a lecture titled: "Entrepreneurship and Freelancing: Your Path to Achieving Your Dreams."

 

At the beginning of the lecture, the Dean of the Faculty  emphasized the importance of the entrepreneurship and innovation course offered by the Department of Basic Humanities and Sciences. He highlighted how this course contributes to developing students' skills and enhancing their capabilities in the field of entrepreneurship. The Dean underscored the significance of such lectures in raising students' awareness of the entrepreneurial world. The department head, who moderated the discussion and was joined by several course instructors, emphasized that this course provides students with an opportunity to understand the entrepreneurship and innovation realm, opening avenues for them to develop their innovative ideas, enabling them to enhance their future projects and achieve their professional aspirations.

 

The guest lecturer and their guest discussed the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation, sharing success stories and the challenges they faced. They emphasized the need for courage, execution, and proactive work in the realms of employment and entrepreneurship. The speakers also revealed realistic aspects of the entrepreneurial world.

 

Through this lecture, the department highlighted its vital role in providing educational content that promotes awareness of entrepreneurship and encourages students to take steps towards realizing their dreams through freelancing and entrepreneurship.
