The purpose of this course is to study research methods and design, the construction of the problems and the importance of hypotheses, how they should be tested, the theoretical bases, reviewing literature, tools and sampling techniques, and procedures of scientific inquiry. The course aims also at acquainting students with other areas of knowledge relevant to the use of library, collecting data, documentation and conducting a research. Emphasis will be placed on application of the basic skills and concepts involved.
