A review of the nature and function of complex syntactic features such as phrases, clauses, subject-verb, pronoun-antecedent agreement, sentence completeness (i.e.fragments and run-on sentences), clear reference, and parallel structure. The pivotal concern should be the development of skills required for producing effective English discourse in its spoken and written modes.
