The Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering has been accredited by ASIIN on December 2018
ASIIN is a recognized German and European accreditation agency in Engineering, Informatics Natural Sciences and Mathematics. The agency view quality of study programmers as a result of a successfully operating qualification process, the interaction between its elements and finally the achievement of its objective, which is attaining the intended learning outcomes for the students.
The content-related specification of the quality of a study program is defined within the objectives formulated by the higher education institution itself. In addition, there are external requirements made by the political, legal and socio-economical environment, within which the degree program is designed and realized.
The quality of a study program is also demonstrated by the level of success that graduates achieve in their profession. It depends on the commitment of all stakeholders within and outside of the higher education institution. We therefore see it as crucial that relevant stakeholders at the institution are involved in the planning, steering, and implementation of this process.
The ASIIN program accreditation procedure reviews the logic and effectiveness of the qualification process within a study programme. Central to the overall assessment is the effective attainment of the objectives set by the institution itself.
