Human resources - 81 faculty members, including:
o 29 professors o 21 associate professors o 16 assistant professors o 15 lecturers - 5 lab supervisors, 7 clinical training preceptors, and 13 lab technicians in the academic support team
- Clinical training preceptors are from top institutions, including
Ministry of Health hospitals, Royal Medical Services, and pharmaceutical
studies centers.
Programs and students - The
Faculty of Pharmacy offers 3 undergraduate programs: BSc in Pharmacy,
PharmD, and Pharmaceutical & Biological Manufacturing
- The
Faculty of Pharmacy offers 6 master's programs: MSc in Pharmaceutical
Technology, Clinical Pharmacy, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy,
MSc in Biomedical Ethics, MSc in Pharmacoeconomics, MSc in Pharmacology
and Experimental Therapeutics.
- The Faculty of Pharmacy offers 1 PhD program.
- Around 590 students have graduated from all graduate programs since their inception until 2023.
- Approximately 9,000 students have graduated from the undergraduate programs since they were established, up to 2023.
- Around 1,530 international students have graduated from both
undergraduate and graduate programs since the Faculty of Pharmacy was
established.
Scientific Research - The Faculty of
Pharmacy received approximately JOD 2,167,000 in internal funding from
the Deanship of Research between 2017 and 2023, and JOD 790,000 in
external funding.
- From 2019 to 2023, the Faculty produced 867
publications in international journals and about 200 publications from
Master's theses.
- Faculty members participated in over 200 conferences from 2017 to 2023.
- Several faculty members were cited among stanford's Top 2% Scientists.
Accreditations and Quality Assurance - The BPharm and PharmD programs are accredited by the Accreditation
Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) from 2018 until 2030.
- The
Faculty of Pharmacy also holds national accreditation from the
Accreditation of Higher Education and Quality Assurance Commission
(AQACHEI) for its Pharmacy and PharmD programs.
- Both the BSc in Pharmacy and PharmD programs are classified at Level 7 of the Jordanian National Classification Framework.
