A comprehensive course deals with the interaction of biological and physico-chemical considerations that are related to drug effectiveness and dosage form design. It also involves the study of pharmacokinetic principles applied clinically to the therapeutic management of individual patients and their disease states. Special emphasis will be given to multi-compartment modeling and applications of statistical moment theory in describing pharmacokinetics of drugs.
