This course includes an advanced approach to disease processes with special emphasis on case reports in medical journals. It will consider the alterations, deragements and mechanisms involved in selected disease states which represent the disruption of normal physiology. Various disorders of the nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, and renal systems will be presented to provide the student with the rationale required for an effective drug therapy.
