Under the supervision​ of the Ministry of Health, Dr Manal kassab and other health care providers conducted a health awareness day at Khadija Bnt Khuwaylid Basic School for Girls, that included various health activities including health education classes to raise awareness about:

1. Swine flu or Influenza A (H1N1) flu

2. The best way to prevent influenza

3. Awareness​ about seasonal influenza 4. vaccination in risk groups

4. Higher risk groups that have serious influenza complications.

Awareness day messages are tailored to different audiences and are disseminated via posters and fact sheets.
