​Under the patronage of the Dean of College of Nursing Dr. Huda Gharaibeh and the Director of Education in Al-Ramtha Dr. Mazen Al-Momani, the health awareness day "Health is a Crown" was implemented at Maimouna Bint Al-Hareth Primary School for Girls on Wednesday, 18-12-2019. It was implemented in cooperation with the College of Nursing / Community and Mental Health Nursing Department from Jordan University of Science and Technology with the participation of the local community.

The Master students of Community Health Nursing under the supervision of Dr. Nesrin Abu Baker and the presence of the head of the department, Dr. Nahla Al-Ali presented a group of topics concerned with the diseases of malnutrition, the importance of physical activity, breast cancer, chronic diseases, irritable bowel syndrome, and influenza. Examination of Hemoglobin level, blood sugar and obesity indicators was conducted as well.

The Master students Alaa Obeidat, Mona Abu Ziyad, Safa Abandah, Tariq Dallou, Mahdi Al-Jarrah, Nour Al-Nuaimi, and Azhar Al-Shami provided a detailed explanation on the topics presented, and educational materials were also provided to the participants.
