The Maternity & Midwifery Nursing Simulation Lab is located in the third floor at the faculty of nursing building (N2 – L-1).
The Maternity & Midwifery Nursing Simulation Lab is approximately 70-square-meter facility that provides a rich training environment for nursing students to practice normal labor, abnormal labor (dystocia), midwifery and perineum protection, physical assessment for newborn including the calculating of the Apgar score, cervical and vaginal examination before and at birth, and auscultate fetal heart sound.
The lab is equipped with two birthing simulators and her newborns, an
incubator for neonates and premature babies, audio/visual system, and equipment and supply that the
student usually encounter in maternal newborn health care setting.
