This course provides the student with the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge from the pre and antenatal care (theory course). By applying evidence based holistic midwifery care and integrating concepts of reproductive health and safe motherhood, the students will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the care that is provided to woman during preconception and antenatal period, in a supervised clinical setting.
