Community and Mental Health Department offers courses of Psychiatric Mental health Nursing and Community Health in which students spend two weeks at the beginning of clinical courses to do orientation and preparatory work necessary for clinical training in the assigned areas. Teachers provide and thoroughly explain course syllabi, discussion of the major skills and tasks students needs to achieve in clinical training.After spending the 1st two weeks in faculty labs, students continue clinical training in schools,primary health centers and home visits in Irbid city and surrounding areas as well as National Mental Health Center in Amman,Princess Basma,King Abdullah Teaching Hospital.
