This course provides nursing students with the essential knowledge and skills in providing nursing care for patients with psychological, emotional, social, and behavioral disturbances. This course introduces the principles and basic concepts of psychiatric mental health nursing and its applications. The course is based on a holistic and humanistic framework, emphasizing critical thinking, caring, and nursing practice. Nursing process forms the foundation of clinical decision making and encompasses all significant actions taken by nurses in providing relevant mental health care to all clients.
