This course will provide the students with an opportunity to develop specific nursing skills and competencies related to assessment, monitoring, and diagnoses of the health status of individuals, families, aggregates, and communities. This course focuses on the application of community health and public health theories related to health promotion, health maintenance, and health restoration and disease prevention. Students in consultation with faculty can tailor this course to specific populations of interest.
