The clinical course for adult health nursing is offered in two semesters. NUR 223 is the first part of this course. The objectives of both parts are to expand students' cognitive, psychomotor, and communicative skills. Nursing process will be used to explore the role of the professional nurse in assisting clients to meet the bio physiological and psychosocial needs in different clinical settings. Communication skills, critical thinking, decision making, psychomotor skills, teaching-learning principles, keeping updated with current literature, and moral principles are emphasized in dealing with selected clients in clinical settings. A clinical rotation in variance clinical care setting will provide practical application of this course content.
