The Kuwaiti Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority delegation visits the Faculty of Medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology.

Today, Monday, the President of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Dr. Khaled Al-Salem, received a delegation from the Kuwaiti National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority, in the presence of the head of the cultural office at the Kuwaiti embassy, Dr. Hamoud Al-Qashaan. During the meeting, several topics related to medicine and dentistry were discussed, and the two parties exchanged common experiences. Dr. Al-Salem presented the residency and higher specialization programs offered by JUST, pointing out his desire to provide a motivational educational environment and qualified graduate and trained staff that serve the Arab and international markets. The delegation members praised the university's reputation and its achievements at the international level. They also visited the Faculty of Medicine​ and were welcomed by the Dean, Professor Basheer Khasawneh, and a number of faculty members. Detailed reports and information were presented about the medical education programs in the faculty. The delegation also reviewed the curricula, training and teaching programs, research areas, equipment, laboratories, and services. The aim of this visit is to inspect the level of education and training in the Faculty of Medicine and ensure its quality according to the international standards adopted in the field of medical education.
The Kuwaiti delegation expressed their satisfaction and praised the modern equipment and tools used in teaching and faculty efforts in improving the level of education and providing a ​stimulating educational environment for the students. At the end of the visit, the Kuwaiti delegation expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Faculty of Medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology for the warm welcome ​and confirmed their support of the academic relations between Kuwaiti and Jordanian universities.
