Course Description


Course Objectives:

  1. To study the general principles of pharmacology that enables the nursing student to use the drugs properly and safely in their practice.
  2. To familiarize the students with the therapeutic indications, contraindications, toxic effects and drug-drug interactions of commonly used drugs in clinical practice.
  3. To study drugs that are used in emergency cases such as status epilepticus, status asthmaticus and diabetic coma.
