Upon completion of the course, students are expected to:
Understand the evolution and development of hospitals and the emergence of modern hospital of the twentieth century.
Recognize the role of the hospital as a subsystem of the total health system, and the role and function of today`s hospital.
Recognize the structure and organization of the hospital.
Recognize the managerial functions of hospitals such as quality control, cost control, productivity management and conflict management.
Understand the clinical functions of the hospital.
