The aim of this course is to provide the students with an overview of human resource management in healthcare organizations. The focus of the course is on the challenges facing human resources management in healthcare, strategic human resource management and planning, and human resource management activities, including recruitment and selection, employee retention, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. In addition, the various employment arrangements and contracts of different healthcare professionals will be discussed in this course.
