This course provides an overview of available complementary and alternative
healthcare practices that fall outside the boundaries of conventional healthcare
delivery systems. Students gain insight into key terms and concepts in
complementary health care practices. The course also discusses issues
associated with traditional healthcare delivery systems. Discussions will include
the role of alternative and complementary health care practices in improving
population health and managing costs in health care sector.
