This course is designed to examine the organization, structure, function, and fiscal operations within healthcare organizations. This course also examines the practice of leaders and managers in health care organizations. The practicum should provide the student with exposure to the preceptor as a health care leader/manager, the domain or context in which the leader works, the challenges s/he faces, and related organization-environment and strategy issues.
