This course discusses and clarifies the relationship of social and biological factors with child mortality and morbidity; it discusses the usefulness and limitations of data from routinely collected records for the study of child mortality & morbidity; it describes the analytical and conceptual basis for various methodological approaches for assessing child mortality & mobility.
